'Ho and Garbo TV presents

The holidays have come and gone, and we're back at work on the old house, getting it ready to sell this spring. We spent Christmas in Belize, pictures soon.

Back in Black.
Guess what we got for thanksgiving this year?

As part of the Mercedes 2007 tour, we're updateing some of our travel pictures with new shots.

We also adopted two cats, Oop Boop and Fergie, abandoned brother and sister, aprox. 6 months old. Adopting the animals was amazing in that we didn't get them from the Upper Valley Humane Society; those pet nazi's were outragous. Basically they determined us as unfit parents, and told us that they wouldn't have an animal for us. Ever. Apparently it was how we were dressed, in our work (renovation) work gear. The truly sad part was there were 30 cats that needed homes....

older news....

We're fully moved in now to the new homestead, and sadly facing a fair amount of work on the old girl due to incompetence of the previous work. Due to a roofing schedule, first up is support structure of the barn.

See our new page.

Despite the shock a lot of our regular fans will face, we've signed a contract on yet another new house, this one a 1820 cape that's been totaly redone (or so we thought). Check out the kitchen, it's 25 x 12! We love our current house, but realize it will never have the kind of living space this beauty does.

We're not selling the first house; after all the work we've done and honestly have not enjoyed the results thereof, we're going to keep it as long as we can.

Added some new pictures, and a job list page of things we came acros in the inspection.

Hough Street Updated 23 July 2006!

It's True!

What's New!

Just got back from a working vacation in Hawaii - the travel section for the United States has been updated

The Gallery has a few new pictures!

We've got a new digital camera, a Panasonic FZ30 - arguably the best digital camera for the money, so check out the gallery section for some new pictures. Here's a great one of Karen though doing her fashion pose.

Viva Las Vegas Baby!

9 January 2006. Garbo just went to Vegas for the weekend to celebrate Elvis' birthday. Well, actually he went there for the CES, but what the hey!

29 December 2005. We just got back from 10 great days in Bonaire! Most of the pics are up, but check back over the next few days for a completed page.

10 December 2005. We've had an important addition to our 21st. Century family, our first robot!

7 November 2005. Well we haven't posted much lately, as we've had a busy summer working on the Prospect Street House in preperation for winter. The paint is done (enough for winter). We did manage to get away one weekend to Montreal, and we'd also like to congratuate Dawn and Vinnie for the birth of their son Anthony.

1 June 2005 - With all the house work, (and a place to park it) we decided to pick up a cheap pickup. Karen wanted to call it "Tiny Dancer", but that got the big negativo, neighborino.
A 1993 Chevy S10 4x4, v6, 100k miles.
A good deal for $1500!

8 May 2005 - The book that is using my picture, Guns Over the Champlain Valley: A Guide to Historic Military Sites and Battlefields, will be released 14 June 2005!

4 May 2005 - we just got back from California, where we were working on the house in Yucca Valley. Also have some new pictures up on the Prospect Property.

Check out these crazy dinos! Remember these from Pee Wee Herman?

17 April 2005 - We had an offer on another house here in town accepted! We're also off to California soon to work on that property (and golf!)

What's Not so New!

FAN MAIL!

Just in time for the Holidays! We're assembling a fan mail section. We get so many of these little jems, its sort of hard to just pick a few. While we sort out the mess, here is a teaser! This is the kind of quality feed back that we love to get from our valued readers! Names have been removed to prevent continued embarrassment, but the spelling and grammar is all theirs!

"I would hope [blank] doesen"to desire to write you an a-mail as he will emasculate you as you deserve"

Nice. We're thinking of adding a-mail as part of our webixcon! We're also a big fan of rhetorical emasculation, by the way, and to prove it, here's an action shot (circa 2001) of Garbo getting his verbal come-uppance!

Ok- I like cats. And cars. But this is an ad that you WON"T see in the US, and is humerous in a shocking way.

Where did you spend your Thanksgiving? Why Costello's Pub, of course!
